In Jacob’s Ladder I convey the Objective process of our inner growth.
We are pulled “down” and at a certain point in time, the direction changes and we go “up”.
Sequence after sequence we progress to higher and lower realms [vibrations/frequencies], thus going up the ladder of our inner evolution.
Changes keep on coming and our aim is to stay above, some might say in the middle, without identification. This is transformation.
During painting, it occurred to me, that the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, Alef, is a symbol of this process.
It was a high moment to realize this internally.
I see my art as a reminder to the awakening of the heart and our Higher Self
